Surah Al Baqarah 2:216



This is one of my favorite Ayat that I have read in the Holy Qur'an. I read it the last Ramadan and it was life changing for me because I was in a hard situation and I could feel how Allah brought peace to my soul through this Ayah.

Allah want us to trust him, we may feel the pain consuming inside us when we do not want to leave something loved, material things, persons that we love, etc., but we need to believe in Allah. He will do the best for you always.

Sometimes, rather many times in our life we ​​cling to material things or people because as humans we like the things of this world without thinking about what will come for our future, that to which we cling can be destructive to us but still we want to stay there.

Allah with His great knowledge maybe want to save us from bigger pains, from heartbreaking situations, from calamities so we need to accept Allah's decision over our life.

Believe in Allah and give him the opportunity to direct your life in the way He wants because be assured that if Allah is the one who guides us we will live the best life in this world and we will have a beautiful reward in the afterlife in sha Allah. 

Remember that Allah is omnipotent, there is nothing impossible for Allah and this life is very short; Always wait, be patient and concentrate on achieving the reward of the afterlife and not of this world because life in this world is short but the afterlife is eternal.

Maybe if you are patient Allah will give you that that you want, but with a sincere heart put your trust in Allah remembering always that he is doing best for us.

We human will never understand what is Allah doing but do not doubt that he is always preparing something good for who believe and trust on Him.

Allah also told us in His old book the Bible in Jeremiah 29:11 "For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, Plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future".

How I became a Muslim?

My transition from Protestant to Muslim Well, some years ago I was studying English in my country of origin and to practice I downloaded some apps to chat with native English speakers. So I met many guys from different countries none of them English native but 95% of those guys were from Muslim countries. Sincerely not all of them had good intentions talking to me but I will never forget two Egyptian guys around two years younger than me always used to tell me make Dua (petitions to Allah) for me.  Those two guys change my life. I need to confess and is something that I feel shame of me, I used to, with my American ideology ask them if they were terrorists and one day something just changed. Those guys, May Allah bless them forever and guide them for the right path; taught me what is real Islam and every time their mouths were open to speak I was becoming more and more in love with Islam.
